The PLACE, Shamballah Retreat VEnue

The Shamballah retreat venue is a place we call home. It is a high-quality house that can accommodate 13 persons in 5 bedrooms, a spacious master bedroom, one triple ensuite room, and three twin rooms.

There are four bathrooms, several relaxing areas, and a living room with comfortable sofas. In addition, there is a large terrace for enjoying the outdoors. A 300 m² lawn invites you to connect with nature and enjoy the sounds of birds and the ocean in the background.

THE LOCATION

We are 10 minutes walking distance to one of the most stunning coastline in Sintra’s National Park.

With an extensive beach along the cliffs, Praia da Aguda is wild and beautiful. The access is steep and suited to the adventurous. However, peace and quiet await at the bottom of the stairs. Along the coast, 2 km each way, you will find Magoito beach. Additionally, Azenhas do Mar sits perched on the cliffs. It is a stunning and awe-inspiring village.

This location is ideal for long walks of exploration and close contact with Nature´s beauty. Our activities schedule not only include daily yoga and meditation practices, but also guided walks along the coast as well as surfing.

The Shamballah retreat venue is only 10 minutes drive from Sintra´s Cultural landscape. Notably, this area is classified by UNESCO as a World Heritage site. Its Parks, Palaces, and Natural beauty will definitely nourish your senses and imagination.
